December: Spirit of Sydney is approaching Cape Horn after a highly enjoyable cruise of the Antarctic Peninsula with 9 Norwegian Vikings aboard. The group was led by Endre Tagendahl, himself an experienced Antarctic sailor and perhaps the first man to snowboard half naked off an iceberg!... see www.seilmagasinet.no for blogs.

January: Spirit will be engaged in the first ever combined Cruise Ship/ Expedition Yacht adventures. Lucky guests will cross the Drake Passage aboard Peregrine's comfortable cruise ships and then transfer to Spirit in Antarctica for magical days of 'up close and personal' fun amidst the amazing scenery and wildlife.

February: Spirit of Sydney is the research platform for 6 of the world's leading whale biologists, and we hope to capture some exciting footage of the scientists at work.... and their subjects.... wild Orcas and Humpbacks of the Southern Ocean. Watch this space!

October/November 2007: Spirit of Sydney will voyage to South Georgia Island a fairy tale land of amazing abundance of wildlife. This is the time of albatross' courtship dancing, elephant seal beachmasters defending their harems, and frenetic penguins frantically building and defending their nests. There are just two berths available for this expedition.
